Juwara Resources & Trading (M) Sdn Bhd has established itself as a trailblazer in Malaysia’s cleaning industry since its founding in 1989 as JUWARA Trading.
Under the visionary leadership of Dato’ Haji Mohamad Hedzir, JUWARA has built a strong foundation of expertise, quality, and service excellence—culminating in its contribution to the development of Malaysia’s national cleaning standard, MS2550:2014.
The company’s achievements include ISO9001:2015 certification, Shariah-compliant MS1900:2014, and the MyHijau mark for green, sustainable cleaning practices. In 2017, JUWARA advanced the industry by introducing its proprietary CIC digital cleaning management system, enabling real-time operational control and transparency.
Today, JUWARA remains at the forefront of innovation through ongoing research and development in autonomous robotic cleaning solutions and IoT-based smart monitoring technologies—paving the way for the future of intelligent, technology-driven cleaning services.

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dato’ Hj Mohamad Hedzir bin Hj Shafii
Dato’ Haji Mohamad Hedzir (D.S.M.S, D.M.P), is the founder, main shareholder and Managing Director of Juwara Resources & Trading (M) Sdn Bhd. He started his business with Juwara Trading, a sole proprietorship in 1989 and upgraded the business in 2002 with the establishment of Juwara Resources & Trading (M) Sdn Bhd.
As JUWARA’s Managing Director, he set directions for it to move forward steadily and surely.
Our Journey
Founded
JUWARA was first established as JUWARA Trading in 1989 but later transformed to JUWARA Resources & Trading in 2002.
Developing Quality Service
During this phase was the time for proving ourselves in terms of cleaning quality and performance. Led by our founder, Managing Director Dato’ Haji Mohamad Hedzir, JUWARA has thru this period gained invaluable knowledge, expertise, experience and the necessary skill-sets required to establish itself as reputable high-quality cleaning service provider.
Redefining The Industry Standard
After having gained the necessary experience of the cleaning industry as a whole, Dato’ Haji Mohamad Hedzir saw the need for improvement and increasing the standards of the cleaning industry.
In 2014, JUWARA thru Dato’ Haji Mohamad Hedzir together with other like-minded cleaning companies worked together with the Department of Standards Malaysia to compile and produce a standardized cleaning quality and performance standards for the Malaysian cleaning industry. The standard is known today as MS2550:2014 Cleaning Performance – Commercial and Public Buildings.
Later during this phase, JUWARA had also attained ISO certification ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System, Shariah compliance MS1900:2014, and the MyHijau mark for green cleaning methodology certification.
Transforming Digitally
At the beginning of 2017, JUWARA together with its partner CIC – Cleaning Innovation Centre launched the self-developed digital online-based cleaning management system to manage and monitor all cleaning activities remotely. Think of it as a command-and-control centre for all cleaning activities at all our client’s sites. Thru this system, JUWARA is able to plan, monitor, control, schedule, report and manage all day-to-day cleaning operations from anywhere and at any time, as it is online web-based. The best thing is, clients also have access to the system, so they themselves can monitor in real-time all cleaning works!
Pioneering Into The Future
Currently JUWARA is engaged in research and development with a local university to jointly develop and produce a range of new technologies for cleaning. Chief among them are autonomous robotic cleaners and smart IOT-based sensors. That’s right, in line with recent developments in robotics, autonomous systems and Internet-of-Things appliances, JUWARA is pioneering and bringing these technologies to the cleaning industry.
